2018 PCLS District Spelling Bee

She and 4th grade runner up, Sophia Martinez, challenged each other through several final rounds of spelling words in the 13 round competition for the district title on Wednesday January  31, 2018.

Melody will represent Painesville City Local Schools at the Lake County Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 7PM at the Auburn Career Center Presentation Center. Should Melody be unable to attend, Sophia would take her place.
