March 14, 2019 - Harvey High School hosted their career fair this morning with over 20 local businesses. Painesville City Local Schools is committed to providing career pathways for students to succeed post graduation. Our Harvey High School leadership team and guidance department work tirelessly providing opportunities for students to meet with colleges, area employers, prepare for standardized testing, and other critical areas that assist in post graduation readiness. This event was one of many that guidance hosts to ensure successful outcomes for our students.
"Harvey Seniors and Juniors, who pre-registered to participate, had the opportunity to interact with a variety of local businesses to interview for possible jobs, internships or other shadowing opportunities. The representatives from the companies gave our students a real life networking experience to gain an understanding of the local employment opportunities that await them upon graduation. Our visitors were impressed by our amazing students. They enjoyed interacting with them and hope to employ many of them in the near future." - Sharon Fitzgerald
